For daytime activities of my college reunion homecoming, I layered a plaid slip dress over a semi-sheer blouse and completed the outfit with this fall's oxford shoes. For the reminiscently collegiate combo, I purposefully picked a diagonal plaid pattern, because diamond-shaped prints somehow have a slimming effect.

Corset Belts are going to take center stage this fall, and you can already use one now to flatter your figure. A corset belt can define your waist better than other types of belts. 

This year's back-to-school sales have started. This is actually a good time to get a deal on something that can also work for adults. A cold-shoulder T-shirt would be a great example. Cold-shoulder tops are very flattering because they reveal the bony shoulders and hide the fleshiest portion of the upper arms. 

Barbiecore is the hottest trend this summer. In case a hot pink dress seems too hot for you, why not just get a pair of shorts in hot pink instead? You can match the hot pink shorts with a multicolored crochet top, which is also on trend right now.

All-white outfits are in style this summer. Would it be possible to pull off all white without looking like putting on a few extra pounds? The answer is yes, and you can even wear a cropped white tank top, as long as it has a V hem.

Blue is the coolest color to wear in summer. While colorblocking is in style this summer, why not color block with different shades of blue to flatter your figure?
